These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Rhy Journal ("Rhy", "the app", "we", "us"), operated by Landon West. Please read them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Rhy is available on iOS. Use of the app is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rhy. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
Rhy supports Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, and email/password login. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You can connect with one partner at a time using an invite code. Once paired, both of you share a single journal. You can leave the journal at any time from the app's Settings.
You retain full ownership of the photos, captions, and other content you add to Rhy ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, display, and deliver it solely for the purpose of operating the app — specifically, to show it to you and your connected partner.
We do not claim ownership of Your Content, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than your paired partner.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you upload does not violate the rights of others or any applicable laws. Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Rhy Fam is offered through auto-renewing subscription plans (for example monthly or yearly plans shown in-app). Plan pricing may vary by region and may change over time.
When a plan is active, premium access can extend to both partners in the same connected journal. Premium features include things like avatar customization, alternate app icons, and widgets.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their purchase policies. We do not process refunds directly.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple account settings. Entitlements are non-transferable.
You can stop using Rhy at any time. To remove your account access, use the "Delete Account" option in Settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Because journals are shared, content in a shared journal may remain available to your partner after you leave the journal or delete your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.
Rhy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the loss of any content or data. We recommend that you keep copies of any memories that are important to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Landon West shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Rhy, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Rhy shall not exceed the amount you paid for Rhy in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, if any.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Utah County, Utah.
